You still have to pay for X Premium (the blue checkmark) to use it to draw anything other than your personified username, though.

Source: Have a free account just to look at stuff. Asked Grok about this. You need to pay.

Which I may do in the future, but the fact remains.

No.. i went to Grok and press "draw me" and then in the form just fill in whatever you want...for example, cats and dogs singing in the rain.

I'm not a paying customer of X ..it's really free to use Grok!
