I read the whole bill. It was definitely better than the previous monstrosity but had some room for improvement.
Don't touch social security, Medicare or Medicaid. Regular Americans rely on those programs and Trump promised not to touch them.
Reduce the massive agricultural subsidies
Reduce the unspecified "environmental science" grants.
Reduce defense spending. Contractors are getting paid way more than they aught to for what's being funded. The military shouldn't be a welfare program for middlemen.
The spending should be reserved for things that directly make people's lives better, and it should be written down exactly how it's going to be carried out. The money could go a very long way if it's rationed intelligently.
Are saying we shouldn't be spending $2.3m on Smart Toilet Seats that have Butt Cheek Identification technology? Or should we not be spending $118k on metal robotic Thanos to see if it could snap it's fingers?
I mean those are the types of things that MUST be funded in order for the government to function. /sar
