Judge finds DFL legislator-elect is not a resident of his district, 'not eligible to serve' in House

A judge ruled that a DFL legislator-elect “did not meet the residence requirements” to serve as the representative for a north metro district.

Temporarily. Decision will be appealed, and a special election could flip the House back to tied. In the meantime, Republicans get to elect a speaker.

And they should be able to get not only chair but pretty much any of the committees. And let's see how it goes in terms of getting the Republicans to actually get out and vote during the special election. Where is my child at least we're fighting instead of sitting around do nothing.
