I've been having issues since the early 2000s but its gotten way worse.
I started with gallbladder irritation under my right ribs, then IBS and had numerous more issues when I moved to the US.
It seemed ok while in the Army but the last few years issues got worse.
Now my gallbladder is severely irritated with stones and the like, I'm extremely bloated with my weight fluxuating.
Basically from my throat with GERD all the way down with what feels like hemeroids.
I turned 43 in late November and i'm male, anyone knowledgeable have some pointers? With all the GI cancers going around i'm quite nervous.
What have you tried so far? What’s your diet? Did you test for anything like candida? Do you take probiotics? Did you take antibiotics or anything that would change your digestion? Need more info.
Magnesium helped break up some gallstones, I'll need to find something with probiotics, any suggestions? Have not been tested for candida but definitely one of my suspicions, my gallbladder flares up with eating bread products...
Also they found precancerous lesions in my throat from GERD.
My gut got ruined once by antibiotics and kefir got it working again really quickly. All it takes is getting some kefir grains (from a friend or on-line) and milk, and it is the best probiotic I know of. You can also enable your thyroid gland to produce high quality T4 and T3 by supplementing with iodine and selenium. The thyroid hormones are made from iodine, selenium is used by the thyroid to regulate the production. Without supplementation of these things it is likely that the iodine receptors in your thyroid can't scavenge enough iodine so they grab onto anything close and fill up with other members of the halide family like flouride, bromide, etc. which directly reduces production and high quality T4 and T3 output. These hormones are required for the body to maintain homeostasis and healthy cells. This may resolve several of the listed issues.
editing to add a thought. You can get your iodine eating beefsteaks, and your selenium from brazil nuts if that is preferred to using supplements..
My thyroid is indeed not functioning properly, I take synthroid (I know, bad and ruined my teeth). I have possibly been exposed to radioactive particles in the service. I really need to find a good iodine supplement but thank you so much for the lead!
ETA: Also took antibiotics for my teeth infections.
Where do you live? Find a good alternative, holistic doctor that does chelation. That will take care of the heavy metals you probably picked up in the military the same as I did. Also get some UV blood treatments with ozone. Will help with a bunch of things! (Got rid of my migraines for one.)
