Isn't that just a book of opinions? Really gross opinions, but still opinions.

And more importantly, human opinions are not the Word of God.

The Talmud gives Jews permission to sin against anyone who isn't Jewish, so I believe it is a false doctrine and very dangerous to conflate God with ethnicity.
