I once fell asleep on the #4 subway train that runs north from City Hall to Grand Central, and then farther north. I normally would get off to catch a MetroNorth train at Grand Central, but that day, I had to get off at 59th st and take the subway back to GC. Fortunately, this is one of the most crowded trains, so not much is likely to happen to a sleeping passenger, but I could see how dangerous it would be to sleep on a train heading far out in Brooklyn!
