Like many technologies, Neuralink has the potential to be used for good or evil. But, since it has to be implanted under the skull, it's not going to happen to someone without their knowledge and I believe that it's not something that could currently be applied to the masses in great numbers. It's also very expensive (the technology + the surgery).
That's always possible from a technical standpoint. It's possible with a pacemaker right now. One can only hope that [they] don't include that possibility in Neuralink.
I think in cases like Neuralink being used to help paralysis or other neurological disorders it's understandable, but it feels like the goal of neuralink is to make it like the new version of a smartphone with constant updates that everyone participates in.

I think it's straight up unethical. Imagine if a corrupt government could just switch people off?
