Holy Father, I just dreamed what I am about to describe: people complain about the present time, unpleasant experiences and what they describe as « bad luck ». If, like You, we could freeze time and observe of things evolve, then we would observe how they always went up, either technologically like the last decades, or religiously, like during the Middle Age, when the Western World mostly had one way to praise You. These were simpler times, the values were real: even if some greed led to the crusades, the people who fought them did this for a noble reason: protect the tomb of Jesus Christ from being desecrated by unbelievers. So, we see, as a Family, as Your Children, we only thrive and elevate ourselves over the years, we should just consider contingencies for what they are: momentarily issues. In the end we win because You win.
AGENDA
👉🏻 Today we celebrate Thomas Becket.
Thomas Becket (21 December 1119 or 1120 – 29 December 1170), served as Lord Chancellor from 1155 to 1162, and then as Archbishop of Canterbury from 1162 until his death in 1170. He engaged in conflict with Henry II, King of England, over the rights and privileges of the Church and was murdered by followers of the King in Canterbury Cathedral. Soon after his death, he was canonised by Pope Alexander III. He is venerated as a saint and martyr by the Catholic Church and the Anglican Communion.

See you tomorrow, Frens!🤓
Pen! God is good. Vinis AND her husband James are both coming to church with us today. Praise the Lord.
Praise Him indeed! Give James a hug for me as well!🙏🏻💐
Amen. Just got back from church. It was a GREAT day. Everyone was happy to finally see Vinis whom they've been praying for. However, I just called her and asked her what she thought. I already knew in my heart what she was going to say; as we've been friends that long. She didn't really care for it as she is Pentacostal and believes in the jumping up and down, clapping your hands, speaking in tongues, etc. There is nothing wrong with that as that is the way some/many people worship our Lord. She said my church reminded her of being in a Baptist church. Mine is Christian and to me there are many differences, she just can't see them. So she probably won't come back.
JAMES on the other hand fit right in. I think he will continue coming as he doesn't go to her Pentacostal church with her. He saw the warmth of the people, the down home country folk like we are, the friendliness and yes, the teaching of God's word. So I believe he will come back and I haven't even asked him yet. But I feel in my heart that he will. Perhaps this is who God has sent me to to bring him back into the fold. All in all, it was a lovely day.
I can hardly wait until tonights Christmas party. I even invited them, but I don't think they are coming.
