There was still a Roman Emperor when Columbus was alive! The Eastern leg of the Roman Empire did not fall until 1453 and even then parts of the Roman Empire survived to rule vast parts of the world like Spain, Portugal and England.
Similar to Nazi Germany. Funny how the Holy Roman Empire was a mostly German thing. Did Rome just morph into the Holy Roman Empire then Nazi Germany and then, through Operation Paperclip, the US?
Yes that is my understanding. All an attempt to reassemble the original global empire of Babylon. Constantly shedding it's skin and being born anew, a new outter court with same inner circle of controlling bloodlines.
I have to agree. It morphed many times and I expect we will see it again --- same countries as the old ones forming an alliance for "peace and safety"!

I would argue the Roman Empire was never really destroyed, it just shed it's skin.

Oh yes we can take it back deep into antiquity.

Yes I concur, History repeated at the behest of the same bloodline families.
