This doesn’t only apply to people being deported, it applies to all Americans. I’m not sure how I feel about this. In one aspect yes it helps the police to be able to do their job without interference, but then the other aspect is it impedes citizen journalist from reporting the truth? Not all policeman and first responders have the best interest of Americans. This is a slippery slope.
Just a few short weeks ago, we saw a policeman walked by a woman burning to death on the subway in New York.
Almost all new legislature is a slippery slope--by design. It's almost always introduced to counter a current 'problem' or to help a certain demographic, but the end game is usually far more sinister or overbearing.
Lefties would get rid of the law as they are anti police. Say whatbunwant but I've lived where there was little law enforcement and it was a crime ridden shithole.

My concern is if a Democrat gets into office who’s in control of this area, how they would use this type of legislation.
