Clearly, they wanted to get Trump's attention without doing too much damage.

I'm in "wait and see" mode on Vegas/Cyber truck. My gut feeling tells me it was some suicidal left-wing wack job hell bent on making a statement against Trump and Musk his parting act. Evidenced by their feeble attempt at a car bomb. We'll know soon enough if a manifesto is released to the public. That stated, not much will surprise me anymore - especially finding out my theory on what happened being completely off base.
All I can say is that this doesn't look like your average suicide bomber considering the minimal impact it produced.
I've also been to the Vegas strip yesterday. Trump Tower is literally the least visited hotel. Plenty of other hotels have way more people in them.
Very weird choice of venue.
The Trump Hotel doesn't have a casino, and is around the corner from Las Vegas Blvd itself. It's a bit off the beaten track, but nice if you want to stay at a hotel that doesn't have a casino.
Clearly a message.
