I noticed something similar in Phoenix area a day or two ago. Clouds formed to cover much of the sky from contrails

So did I. I live in North Phoenix and noticed the same thing going on. This year has been exceptionally dry and warm here, even for the desert. Connection???

Same happened/happens here in Northern Nevada. We start out with a mild morning and it gets colder the later it gets, due to the “cloud” cover.
