👉🏻 Link to yesterday’s post.
Holy Father, I am waking next to the Christmas tree for the last time of this period. I still will enjoy a nice free time on Sunday morning and I praise You for inspiring me this way of organising my return to the active life. As soon as March, I shall begin to be over a week long on call, also on nights and weekends, and, instead of feeling helpless, I experience this perspective as an opportunity to settle myself in this job and to demonstrate my abilities to my employer. I feel confident we are together in it for a really nice time. I pray everyone here has a pleasing job quality.
AGENDA
👉🏻 Today we celebrate Angela of Foligno.
Angela of Foligno (1248 – 4 January 1309) was an Italian Franciscan tertiary who became known as a mystic from her extensive writings about her mystical revelations. Due to the respect those writings engendered in the Catholic Church she became known as Theologorum Magistra ("Teacher of Theologians"), as first used by Maximilian Sandaeus, later cited by Bollandus in the Acta Sanctorum).

See you tomorrow, Frens!🤓
Amen. I just took down my Christmas tree. It was only a foot tall.
Mary!🤗💐
I love to keep ours during January: it smells beautifully and repels eventual insects. Then I cut it in small bits which I keep for the chimney fires.🔥
George and I used to always go buy a real Douglas or Frasier Fir about 6 ft. tall every year, but it got so hard at our age to make room for it and set it up, decorate and then take down. So we went a bought a 1 foot artificial that doesn't take up any room and is quick to decorate and remove. My daughter is upset at the fact that her little boy AJ will never get to see the kind of Chrismas's I used to put together. I told her that I'm passing the 'torch' to her. I miss it too, but when you're getting old where you simply don't feel like it, there it is. I pray you and Anne carry on your lovely tradition and never get to old and tired to do it.
