EVs are know to burn longer and hotter than a normal structure fire, so how much did the fire from EVs Contribute to the Conflagration is Pacific Palisades?? I saw a video clip of the devastation in Pacific Palisades and there were lots of burned out Teslas. Those lithium batteries can burn for up to 12 hours or longer. Those flames would continue to fuel a wildfire and they firefighters would be unaware where the EVs were burning. Typically, an EV battery fire requires the firefighters to babysit the vehicle for hours to make sure it doesn't reignite.
I would like to see an overlay of where all the houses where EVs were parked within the burns zone in Pacific Palisades. My gut tells me the EVs are more to blame for the intensity and duration of the fire than anything else.
I don't know but good luck with all those electric cars and no power grid. California also banned gasoline generators last year so good luck with that also
