Cornyn is one of our Senators from Texas. I wouldn't trust the SOB as far as I can throw him, and this measure just seems like him trying to cover his ass. Most of the folks I know want that POS gone at the next election.
He was never a MAGA ally in this fight.
I would love to see constitutional carry affirmed nation wide, but I doubt Cornyn is the man to push it through. He may just want to grand stand and say he tried.

There’s already a rule on the books prohibiting the government from infringing on the right to concealed carry…and open carry…in all 50 states.
Correct. How about an executive order to respect the 2A and abolish all restrictions on carrying in a 50 states.
