I am reminded of the 1983 words of a brilliant American, born in Russia - Isaac Asimov:-
βThere is a cult of ignorance in the United States, and there always has been. The strain of anti-intellectualism has been a constant thread winding its way through our political and cultural life, nurtured by the false notion that democracy means that 'my ignorance is just as good as your knowledge.ββ
But it's true that conversations are interrupted by corrections. I can't deny that. I don't know the answer. Unfortunately, the education system has let many people down and they don't seem to care. But here in Greece, the education system is so bad that parents send their kids to evening class - because they care. And it's expensive.
What anons fail to realise is that the poor education is deliberate. Educated people can fight the deep state more effectively. If you wanna fight, learn how to write!
Uh, oh. Be careful. I got a ban for educating like that. We are not allowed to point out such mistakes.
It derails the conversation.
It's a common tactic of shills.

Why not?? It would bring this place to a higher level.
