North Florida did break some snow records. It does get snow but, it is rare and often a once in a lifetime experience for anyone generational in the state.
March 6, 1954: The previous record snowfall in Florida, with 4 inches accumulated at Milton Experimental Station, Santa Rosa County.
February 13, 1958: An overnight rainfall changed to snowfall in Jacksonville, accumulating to 1.5 inches, with Tallahassee reporting a record 2.8 inches.
February 9, 1973: Snow fell over the northern portion of the state, including a total of 2.0 inches in Pensacola, with unofficial reports of up to 8 inches.
January 1977: A rare instance of snow flurries observed in the air in Miami, Fort Lauderdale, and West Palm Beach.
December 23, 1989: The first White Christmas in northeastern Florida’s history resulted from a snow event.
January 22, 2025: The current winter storm brought record-breaking snowfall to Florida, with Pensacola and Milton experiencing significant snowfall, breaking the state’s 130-year-old record.
I was in Bradenton (originally from Michigan) on my internship back in Dec. 23, 1989 when the snow and hard freeze hit. Some of my neighbors had never even seen snow before. Tropicana had lost a large number of orange trees, and you couldn't get a tomato at any restaurant for months, including the one I was interning at.
I want to point out that Trump a few years ago pointed out that regarding climate change He stated "It will get colder, just watch"
I was just thinking this exact same thing.

You found it! I was looking for that. Thanks fren!
Does FLORIDA even HAVE snowplows?
I don't think they know what a snowplow is.
Nope
I imagine some lesbian diversity hire saying in a motorpool some where in Florida... "We need pushy scrapie things on the trucks"
Florida has Florida man..what else is needed...lol
They are stored next to their zambonis.
Ooooooh! Thank you!😊
I found another one. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bZB87sVQgKg
