It could be a routine training mission, but I've never caught these both up at some time:
Cobra Ball: https://globe.adsbexchange.com/?icao=ae01d7
Rivet Joint: https://globe.adsbexchange.com/?icao=ae01c5 (note: callsign HOOVR43 - as in a Hoover vacuum sucking everything up)
What kind of planes are those?
They are both RC135s recon/surveillance planes. Lots of electronics. One is specialized for SINGINT. They are based with the 55th Wing out of Offbut AFB in Nebraska.
The RC135S Cobra Ball
The RC135V/W Rivet Joint
Both are back up tonight:

Looks like they were doing training runs over Nebraska in prep for a border mission.

Yep. The Rivet Joint is up right now. I've never seen a SIGINT plane in the Gulf of California. Good time to be a planefag.
Spy planes.
