What should Trump do about - or how should he address the instances where ICE has detained citizens and veterans during their raids? - just to be clear, I am referring to the incident in NJ. Citizen was arrested in a restaurant during raid. https://www.newsnationnow.com/us-news/immigration/border-coverage/ice-raid-new-jersey-veteran/amp/

Normal American citizens usually have some form of ID with them. If they don't, well then I guess it gets sorted out by other means? Save some time and trouble and carry some form of ID.
Well - the whole point of detention. Seems a little odd to think that targeted raids are not really targeted to individuals known to have committed crimes but just happen to look Hispanic. I mean, the whole, where are your papers thing is a little off putting. If we are intellectually honest, we were saying the same thing about the Covid Vaccines Certificates if you recall.
I dunno what to think about this particular event. I could say shit happens and move on, and I don't want to live in a "show me your papers" country, and if they are targeted raids then yea, this doesn't make lot of sense. Article said they received tips or complaints and went there. Idk, more details or a press release from ICE would be helpful.
