They won't believe until there are targeted attacks on a daily basis. Their heads are so buried in the sand it will take an extraordinary event to get them to think otherwise.

Some people's belief's are like a cult religion - I argued with a guy over concealed carry using FBI stats (back before they became total garbage) and he refused to believe anything except the media talking point of the day
