The article is good , and right on ! but I don’t understand the title , is it me , does “600,000 men dies for anchor babies” make sense as far as grammatically ? No big deal I’m just trying to figure out, one of those late night brain twisters .

...the style book says "dies" is used because Ann was referring to multiple deaths...
...at first blush, I would have said "die", but one should never take financial or composition advice from a dog...
