OP, this was beautifully stated. I too have been on the Q train since the end of Oct. 2017. The ride has been like a roller coaster with highs and lows. Yet we pushed on with our faith growing. If anything, for me at least, this has definitely brought me deeper into the spiritual part of my soul, and it's opened my heart to become closer to God.
