I had to be on them for 3 months, before that I paid all my taxes and did not depend on anyone. It was embarrassing having to ask for help. This was due to Proposition 13 in Calif., I agreed with the law even though I lost my job, I voted for it. It now has been a blessing that they have to jump through too many hoops to raise taxes.
