The state legislature is out of control. Ignoring sunshine laws that require them to have all meetings in public, illegally taxing everything naming them as ‘fees’ instead of tax to get around the TABOR law. Tax payer bill of rights was voted into place to prevent the criminals from implementing taxes over a certain amount without citizen approval. They have since added hundreds of fees pretending it’s not taxation.
I moved here in ‘92 and it was amazing. Still love the geography and weather and immediate neighbors. But we’re seriously shopping for a place to escape to. It’s sad. And angering. And illegal.

Can someone sue them for that?
