UN HQ in NYC would make a great homeless shelter if run by someone that actually knows what they're doing. It could have everything: living space, a clinic, education for them. Might be better as a veterans shelter though, they would for the most part all be grateful for the help.
Agreed on the vets home and still have a clinic and an occupational and physical therapy place for them, and an orthopedics place for anputees.
