How is this good news? It means nothing at this point. I think we all have earned the right to doom just a little bit. Until at least one prominent DS actor or influencial donor to either party is arrested, this is all lame political theatre.
So why do you think this is NOT good news? Doomers don't subscribe to the 72-hour rule. They knee-jerk react with emotion, "It's over man we lost!!" or "Pam and Kash didn't do what I think was right" so now they're no good and need to be replaced kind of thinking. Since you or I don't have the full picture of what's really happening, I guess dooming is some sort of coping mechanism to something we don't have the full picture on. Dooming is not good. It just brings you down because you've put yourself into an emotional state of negativity.
