With the Internet we don't even need Elected Officials. All voting could be done by the voters. The issues could be discussed beforehand in the Public Square. This would put an end to Special Interest groups scheming away Tax Payer dollars. The reason they had elected officials in the first place was to represent a Geographical area before the CAR & INTERNET.
