Need to Vent re the Joint Session - just a few items of both Praise and Concern from this Old Fart: Courage & Commitment, Gratitude, and Babies

Courage & Commitment - Our President AND his cabinet/appointees: It is SO long overdue to see our brave citizens take stands against the insanity that has plagued our nation for TOO long from its supposed "leaders". ALL of our President's nominees/appointments have been PERFECT for the tasks for which they have volunteered, and I'm impressed with all of the fortitude, determination, logical thinking, and commitment to the Constitution I've seen. A Fighter picking fellow Fighters. Love it!

Gratitude - Our nation's citizens ARE awakening, as evidenced by the election results and that beautiful 76% approval rating from Americans for Trump's speech last night! As Q said, often times people need to see for themselves the ACTIONS of our supposed "leaders" as opposed to the hearing of mere platitudes from them, which again has fermented for TOO long in our government (not a quote). Thanks to all who have and still are fighting for (forgive me) Truth, Justice, and the American Way.

Babies - As a former middle school administrator, I've seen 7th graders behave with more respect, decorum, and ... (more)

The fact that THEY wouldn't stand for and applaud for the 13-year old brain cancer fighter / LEO dreamer, given an honorary Secret Service "appointment" - with badge and ID, obviously surprised - melted my heart, and I got teary eyed. When that young man leaned over and hugged that man around the neck ... my eyes leaked.
