I don't know where this idea that all of these millions of government workers are using their work credit cards for personal items came from.
Seriously, this is ridiculous. It's like the entire concept of a business issued credit card is incomprehensible to some people and they have no clue about having to show recipts for purchases and explain any discrepancies.
It's going to cost more to fix all the problems this "solution" causes than just going in and doing an audit of their spending and firing and prosecuting anyone they find of misusing their credit.
People need to get out of this mindset that every government employee is an enemy. It's silly.
The issue also stems from the fact there are more issued cards than there are even federal employees. By about double. Why would an an employee need more than 1 federal credit card for work?
