Seriously, this is ridiculous. It's like the entire concept of a business issued credit card is incomprehensible to some people and they have no clue about having to show recipts for purchases and explain any discrepancies.
It's going to cost more to fix all the problems this "solution" causes than just going in and doing an audit of their spending and firing and prosecuting anyone they find of misusing their credit.
People need to get out of this mindset that every government employee is an enemy. It's silly.
The issue also stems from the fact there are more issued cards than there are even federal employees. By about double. Why would an an employee need more than 1 federal credit card for work?

Its a lot easier to reset everything and have the people who need it reach out and prove why..I'd imagine.
The fact that they issued a considerable number of cards in excess of the number of employees has also to be addressed.
This open fraud, the audit will take a bit of effort, but I imagine DOGE have begun to automate the analysis of the card statements.
