Some people can drive expensive cars, several of them, and buy expensive houses, own season tickets, and travel all over the place.

Each of these, outside their means.

Then "make up the difference" by sending their kids to enemies' lair for 16+ years.

Then wonder "what happened, we did everything right, provided them food and a roof."
