I divorce my first husband at 30 with a five year old daughter. We were married 10 years. Later I remarried and had two more kids. They were 14 and 16 when their Dad died of a massive heart attack. We were married 20 years. I raised a teacher, an engineer and a microbiologist. Woman can raise kids alone just fine. The difference is what kind of job they have and if they can afford the financial burden of kids. Not having enough money makes many woman chase men and reward themselves for making it through the week. Kids take a backseat to the woman’s life. Having been through single parenthood, I get it.
More kids are being raised in single mother/broken homes. Their is no masculine authority figure/disciplinarian in the home anymore and it shows.
That child/home is an example of a tragic yet avoidable statistic.
