Technocracy was a "thing" back in the 1930s. It was a form of socialism in which all matters of policy were rooted in considerations of industrial economics. Going so far as to propose the "technate" as the unit of currency, equal to some quantity of kilowatt-hours of energy. Everything governmental was supposed to be administered by technical experts. It is the "-ocracy" that the term "technocrat" comes from. It was mainly self-perceived as the better alternative than FDR's version of socialism. Storefront offices existed as late as the mid-60s in small cities, but the concept has died out with its original adherents. My grandfather used to be a proponent, but he wasn't very eloquent about it. He was more interested in going fishing at Lake Douglas in British Columbia.
Folks, this is the obsolete evening wear of the political environment. There is nothing to it.
Hey, I've seen their literature on display for the public who walked past. And they were about as popular as a castration clinic. Nobody---but nobody---talks about Technocracy, They were never more than an oddball fad, and they deserve a quiet death.
As for Bitcoin, so what? I don't respond to unmotivated leading questions.
No. Lyndon LaRouche was a full other set of crazy. Nothing to do with Technocracy. Based on what I experienced first hand, his followers were mentally deranged.
And their most recent publications seem to date from 2022, 3 years old with nothing more recent. This has all the earmarks of someone who had funding for a start, but no sustaining interest or funding. Not too hard to dig up a corpse and don its clothes.
The Libertarian Movement has been more lively, lasting for now 50+ years, and hardly anyone knows of it or speaks of it. And it is free-market-oriented. Basically, it became submerged in internal political drama among the dominant anarchist radicals (who had no real solutions for the present world).
All Hail Elon Musk’s Martian Technocracy

That's weird. They still have a website? Says it's under construction.
And it says they're under new "ownership". In oddly conspicuous quotation marks?
