We receive very little federal funding, but dismantling IMLS would have a big impact on smaller libraries as they rely on grants to stay open. Also, we were going to do a foam party for our summer reading event but after finding out he was married to a transgender and openly on his FB page, we said we will pass. Side note, my entire staff minus maybe 2 are conservative Christians. Not all libraries are nut job places but many are like that.
