"Si vis pacem, para bellum" is a Latin phrase meaning "If you want peace, prepare for war," and it's often used to advocate for military readiness as a means of preventing conflict. Sounds like she is just echoing that sentiment.
Its the call to action is what the focus of the post is. Basically saying to have peace we must seek out conflict.
Well, yeah... therein lies the difference.
Preparing for conflict is not the same as seeking conflict. Trump has said that a strong military is the best way to avoid war.
One must be always ready to respond when threatened, but you wont find peace looking for a fight.
There's no need to prepare for war unless you're planning to attack. Russia was never a threat to Finland and Finland didn't need to prepare for war before Finland's globalist elite decided to join NATO.
Our military prepares for war every day. War games, PT, weapons practice and on and on. Normal for any military worth its salt. Constant drill. Same for Navy ships.
