Replacement parts are the issue, so we sell off the busses that could be used for replacement parts for the few busses that are still running. 🙄

Wouldn't it be interesting to go an check out what the Proterra corporate officers are doing today? Did they leave the company with huge pensions or hand outs? Are they living on the streets as beggars or have they managed to slide into manager positions within other corporations? Funny how Everett WA citizens have to bear the brunt of stupid decisions by their city government and that mistake is compounded by the mismanagement of a electric bus company. Someone ought to be held accountable and those who walked away with an arm full of money should have to give it to the citizens of Everett.
Start digging and bring it out. That's the only way.
I would also talk a peek at who the bankruptcy Trustee for this particular case. My wife used to be a secretary for a bankruptcy attorney and she told me that the Trustee overseeing bankruptcies takes a huge portion of the money left over after all the debts are paid. This money then goes to pay their office staff and whatever is left is put into their personal bank accounts. Very few Trustees work for the State, thus it is a lucrative business. Seems to me that if the Corporation officers raided the bank accounts before they closed shop then the only "bones" left over would be the physical assets, show rooms, vehicles, desks, etc. That could be liquidated and the Trustees might walk away with a chunk of change. This has me thinking about huge (corrupt/deep state) corporations that go bankrupt are nothing more than a way to enrich the officers and the bankruptcy Trustees. Maybe there is a link there, somehow. Then, BAM!, the next week these same corporate officers open up a new business that's selling the same thing. My wife says it a common practice in small business. I'm thinking its a way to steal handfuls of money in the big boy businesses. JMTC
