Best thing anyone can do in my opinion is to check out of the hospital scare machine. I decided years ago after undergoing many biopsies, surgeries, mammogram, ultrasounds and them coming back with the big "oops, sorry bout that, it was nothing" bullshit speeches, that I won't be getting cancer because I won't be in there looking for it. May seem silly to some of you, maybe I'm a nut bag, who cares. If I break a leg, I'll let them set it. Beyond that, the scare machine in scrubs is just that, in my eyes.

They do seem to want to scare people to death by invoking CANCER! Look at this poor guy, only 64, with TWO debilitating lung surgeries!! For some reason, I was not freaked out about their CANCER CANCER CANCER fear porn. I already knew there are alternative cures . . .
Yes, I had surgery for a serious broken leg. That is the type of thing surgery is for. I would have been a cripple in the Middle Ages.
