Best thing anyone can do in my opinion is to check out of the hospital scare machine. I decided years ago after undergoing many biopsies, surgeries, mammogram, ultrasounds and them coming back with the big "oops, sorry bout that, it was nothing" bullshit speeches, that I won't be getting cancer because I won't be in there looking for it. May seem silly to some of you, maybe I'm a nut bag, who cares. If I break a leg, I'll let them set it. Beyond that, the scare machine in scrubs is just that, in my eyes.

Yes, I had surgery for a serious broken leg. That is the type of thing surgery is for. I would have been a cripple in the Middle Ages.
