The horse paste ivermectin is dissolved/suspended in a gel for easy delivery into the horse's mouth by syringe. My question is, what is the gel composed of? I did some research on pharmaceutical gel mediums once, but couldn't find a specific answer for the Durvet horse paste that I take.
