Yes black walnut & wormwood, black seed oil……. The list goes on and on…..
Bottom line is there is a very common thread among many ‘natural’ or ‘alternative’ cures for ailments that have proven success; common thread = anti parasitic. But, for the most part, in the mainstream, the anti parasitic aspect is not recognized or attributed. Dare I say downplayed?
Same is holding true with many of the highly valuable spices of ancient times. The anti parasitic theme is strong there too but buried somewhat.
I think once you get rid of them with the black walnut/wormwood tincture, eating a fig a day helps you maintain your fight against them according to a natural health gal I used to talk with. I took the black walnut/wormwood detox a couple times and little white rice looking things came out the other side so it was doing something.
I have been amazed to learn what spices are capable of. I’m sure past generations knew. For me it gives a whole new perspective on the meals I make. Somehow knowing that I enjoy cayenne, cinnamon, black pepper and salt in most things but adding turmeric or cumin will have other health benefits adds meaning to what I’m cooking for more than just taste!

Nice - I just picked up some dried figs last month and have been snacking on them. Didn’t even know about that.
I’ve been trying to get rid of processed sugar in my diet. Never even tried them aside from fig newtons. Kinda like them actually.
