I think many of these people have grown up with their politics being mainstream, so whatever they did, it was "sanctioned" by the cult. Now this has shifted, but many people have not yet since it has been ingrained in them. They still think they can get away with what they could, when the cult was in charge, but they are in for a rude awakening.

It’s like everything that was allowed in the past from outrageous and unchecked spending in the government, to illegals being treated better than vets, homeless, and students, to making allowances for the minority while being intolerant of the majority’s rights (men in women’s sports, locker rooms and prisons. Just so out of control in order to strike fear into the law abiding citizens in order to gin up a revolution which would lead to death for many, poverty oh and loss of rights!
