She is 76 she is very sharp! She got a email last week from social security saying that she was going to get 1700 a month instead of he measly 300 a month, and a back pay 20000 for the past year! She checked in her account this afternoon, and it was all true! I couldn’t believe it and she couldn’t believe it!

They docked people who paid into public pensions and had social security payments possibly from prior jobs. Decided that docking people because they paid into both was inequitable. Don’t know if this is what your mom is excited about.
