The Ghost of Jimmy Carter Comes Back to Haunt America: China Blocks Panama Canal Sale to Blackrock — Setting Up Major Confrontat...
Tensions escalate as China blocks BlackRock's strategic acquisition of Panama Canal ports, igniting a confrontation with President Trump over U.S. control of this vital maritime route. Historical implications and geopolitical stakes unfold.
Take the canal back from Panama, there are treaty violations that would allow. Deny use to china and build new ports.
I don't want either to have control over Panama canal
Is this maybe something Trump was hoping would happen?
A blocking of Blackrock so instead Trump can bargain a great deal with China so we win even harder?
Going to have to wait and see what happens. Interesting stuff
Not sure about that.
Blackrock taking other the Canal would be preferential. Considering the EO he signed about human rights abusers and the govt. seizing their property.
In theory, the US govt could own the canal if they seized all of BlackRock's assets.

Under what court??? Possesion is 99% of the law, that 1% is CCP feigning a bluff. China has no jurisdiction. They try to move troops in, it wont end well for them. The canal treaty was signed with conditions and those conditions were met. Now the Canal comes back under control of the U.S. who built it. End of story.
Hmmmm....wonder where this is headed?
