Labels, categories, belief systems do not change the Gospel and its Truths.
All of that is fluff and distraction.
Jesus, with His own words, told us exactly what to expect and how to prepare.
ALL of the above can be gleaned by study, daily, of the Bible and if born again, the old man replaced by the new man, by the acceptance of Jesus as one's Lord and Savior and believe upon his birth, death and resurrection and His ascention to the right hand of the Father. The Holy Spirit, who indwells the Christian's heart, will lead one to all Truth and Righteousness with discernment and wisdom as we are being sanctified daily.
His strength is revealed in our weaknesses. Do not rely on your own understanding, but by the Word of God.
Don't rely on man's "truths" and him telling you how to believe and worship.
The Bible tells me so.
Caveat: I certainly have no objection usng Bible commentaries, etc to help in understanding confusing passages.

Doxxing myself to ADawg, but he wrote me the most beautiful prayer, in 2022, I think. I was in the throes of complex PTSD (cPTSD...look it up). I used to pour the wretched state of my soul out on here and on VOAT.
06/02/2022 Jesus came to me in this chair right here and took away 45 years of pain , anguish and longing from death from me.
No more anxiety, no more flashbacks, no more nightmares, no agoraphobia, no lashing out, no spontaneous crying...no nothing. No meds. Just pure freedom in Christ and joy that cannot be defined.
I am alive. My world is in color now! I had no idea people lived like this ...took me from 7 to 58 yrs old to live.
It was worth it all.
Rejoice in hope, be patient in tribulation and be constant in prayer.
Rom 12:12
Dispensationalism is a theological framework that interprets history as divided into distinct periods or "dispensations," each with a unique way God interacts with humanity, and emphasizes a literal interpretation of biblical prophecy, particularly concerning Israel and the church.
Here's a more detailed explanation:
Core Beliefs:
Distinct Dispensations:
Dispensationalism posits that history is divided into distinct periods or "dispensations" where God interacts with humanity in different ways.
Literal Interpretation of Scripture:
Dispensationalists generally favor a literal interpretation of the Bible, particularly when it comes to prophecy and the Old Testament.
Distinction Between Israel and the Church:
A key tenet is the belief that God has distinct plans and purposes for Israel (as a nation) and the church (as a spiritual body).
Premillennial Eschatology:
Dispensationalism typically holds to a premillennial view of the end times, meaning that Christ will return before a literal 1,000-year reign (millennium) on earth.
Pre-Tribulation Rapture:
Dispensationalists often believe in a pre-tribulation rapture, where believers are taken to heaven before a period of tribulation on earth.
Key Features and Concepts:
The Seven Dispensations:
Dispensationalists often identify seven dispensations: Innocence, Conscience,
Human Government, Promise, Law, Grace, and the Millennial Kingdom.
Focus on Prophecy:
Dispensationalism places a strong emphasis on the study and interpretation of biblical prophecy, particularly in relation to Israel's future role.
Historical Development:
The movement gained prominence in the 19th and 20th centuries, with figures like John Nelson Darby and Cyrus Scofield playing significant roles in its development.
Influence:
Dispensationalism has had a significant influence on evangelical and fundamentalist Christianity, particularly in the United States.
Points of Contention:
Covenant Theology:
Dispensationalism is often contrasted with covenant theology, which emphasizes the continuity of God's covenants throughout history.
Israel and the Church:
The distinction between Israel and the church is a point of contention, with some arguing that the church is a continuation of Israel's spiritual destiny.
Literal Interpretation:
The emphasis on literal interpretation of scripture is another area of contention, with some arguing that a more nuanced approach is necessary.

What does Dispensationalism mean to you? If you're not a Zionist, your views differ greatly from Dispensationalists. Plz look at that link, it gives a great overview of where this stuff came from
In all seriousness though…
Like 90% + of us here are frens and revere and respect Jesus Christ...
However, a portion of us are skeptical NOT of Jesus Christ's teachings, but rather the dogmas & questionable interpretations that have been supplanted into it (in the last several centuries particularly).
One of my absolute favorite things about GAW is that it's usually a place where posts/comments on faith/Christ are widely revered, never swept aside.
I can definitively say I would not be here if it was not for that. Period.

Full Preterists also oppose them, despite how wrong their eschatology is
He who controls the media, controls the narrative. It has been that way for at least a couple of thousand years.
This is a good interchange.
