Follow the money.

Look at government contractors. Ratheon, General Dynamics, Lockheed Martin, etc.

All are staffed by former military and offer retirement board of directors positions to flag officers.

Retire Generals hire retired Colonels hire retired Lt. Colonel's hire retired Majors, etc.
