Learning truth causes tons of pessimism. I don't think Jesus said that. Jesus said he is Truth.

Wrong. Truth causes many problems for a person who lives in a world of lies and evil. Many reasons for pessimism. If it weren't for the plan we'd have no hope. That is a fact.

TRUTH has never made me pessimistic. It has made me adjust some things in my life. But it has always ended up benefitting me.
