John 1:11 "He (Christ) came unto his own and his own received him not, but to as many as received him, to them he gave the right to become sons of God, even to those who believe on his name." "Christ came as our sacrificial lamb, the Jews expected a conqueror (a lion) and missed the day (Luke 19:42) that would bring them peace. In like fashion,Religion expects a lamb, and therefore allow anything to take place in the church, men with men, women with women, even forsaking the sanctity of life (they too greatly err). For Christ does not return as a lamb but as a lion (a conqueror)(Revelation 2:27) who shall rule with a rod of iron, over his enemies, who have rejected the lamb (his sacrifice) and his word. "Why do you call me Lord Lord and do not what I say"(Luke 6:46) The lesson is if you reject the lamb you will face the lion. Leviticus 17:11 says, "For the life of the flesh is in the blood" Hebrews 9:22, cries "Without the shedding of (innocent) blood there is no forgiveness of sin" The thief on the cross (to the right of Jesus) recognize this truth, and confessed "We are guilty, you are sinless. We too confess, thank you Lord Jesus, for shedding your sinless blood, for our sins, we judge ourselves guilty of sin, and admit our need of your Redemption. Amen.
