Genuine christians wouldn't try to force their way into a church guarded by a government, regardless of whether it was wrong to prevent their entry. They would simply hold their worship service elsewhere, to spite their tyranny. This is a psyop.
Because it's His temple, He's the Lord! And the corrupt priests were exploiting the people who had to rely on the animals to make a sacrifice but they were overcharging for them and robbing people who were just trying to do what the Law required! This is a completely different situation. Jesus never told His followers to force their way past the Roman government or anything like it. If they were prevented from being somewhere they went somewhere else, and spited that oppressive government. This form of revolution has been the most effective weapon against tyranny of all. Complying with the laws of the State, so long as they don't require you to break the laws of God, all the while maintaining your stance. No tyrant can continue in the face of such a people. Suffering is all but guaranteed during this, but Christ said we should rejoice in that type of suffering.
