Jews can't have the old testament supporting that Christ is the savior. Imagine they have to admit he came already and redeemed mankind.
Isaiah's prophecy is 400 years before Christ and tells that the messiah will come before the temple is destroyed. If Jesus is not the messiah, then there will never be a messiah. This is a big issue for Judaism.
Many religious Jews have converted to Christianity because of this prophecy being explained to them. Many are shocked when it's in their own book.
It's no shock why the certain people in the industry would want that tidbit of information suppressed.
