Let’s not forget that Putin is a Soviet Era former KGB foreign intelligence officer (so, literally a communist spy) who had ties to the East German Stasi during his post in Dresden. I also don’t believe he ever renounced Communism, the party fell while he was still a member. What came in the 90s may have been bad, but Putin hails from a far worse era.
Not sure what your argument is, are you claiming that the Soviet Union was actually good or are you saying that my description of Putin’s biography is incorrect?
Communist era was actually pretty nice time period in Soviet Union and in countries that were in Soviet sphere.
In polls majority of people agree that letting the Soviet Union collapse was mistake.
Even here in Finland the Cold War was actually good time period, the trade with Soviet Union made Finland rich country and we actually had equal trade without trade deficit for either the Soviet Union or Finland, something Donald Trump wants to do now with other countries too.
