A cool story you might like. Back in my father's heyday.

He had the third largest commercial roofing companies in the 80's.

Just an eighth grade education.

What I am about to describe about my father should warn people about Patrick Byrne, the genius supposedly on our side.

Anyway, when I was 13 and visited my dad's new office in 1983, he had a rolodex on his office desk.

I was like, dad, "what is up with the rolodex? Never seen you look up an address or phone number."

He said 2 things to me.

First, "if you have a superpower, never reveal it to anyone. You kids should not even be aware of my photographic memory."

Second, "if you are going to employ people to work for you? Do not have them think this kind of memory is required. Do not show them that ability. Stress the things they can accomplish, such as showing up to work on time, treating customers well and performing the job as expected."

Patrick Byrne? Many videos of him online proudly showcasing his photographic memory.
